There's a new post up at the Fat Girl Gets Fit blog detailing her daily routine which uses both Wii Fit, and My Fitness Coach.

I like the way she focuses on one area each day, working through as many exercises as she can from that set. I think this helps to keep things interesting. It also speeds up the routine, as you spend less time changing between exercises. I may have to try something similar, although I don't often have so much time in the morning.

I also plan to get My Fitness Coach to give it a try, it sounds like a really good game and a nice complement to Wii Fit.

The blog seems to have disappeared but this is something I've started doing too. Previously I was either doing My Fitness Coach or various exercises from Wii Fit Plus but never on the same day. I found I got bored doing the longer workouts from MFC, and doing Wii Fit alone wasn't quite taxing enough. Now I've started mixing it up a bit doing a short MFC workout then Wii Fit, selecting different exercises based on what I feel like doing or what body part needs a rest. So far I'm really liking that approach.

I do MyFitness Coach Cardio Workout and complement it with free weights dumbbells (complementary guidelines from Weight Training for Dummies).

Try it out, it works very well for me; cardio + weight training = increase metabolism...
