Hey Paul; Can you do anything about the posts that seem to be advertisements for drugs??? I can't find a report button anywhere. This forum is usually so positive and I've only noticed these "advertisements" recently. THANKS!!!

To report use the triangle Symbol in the right upper corner of the posting.

I've been removing them constantly. I'm on here many times a day and I try to check in a few times in the evenings. It seems to be happening a lot on other forums I'm on as well. It hasn't been as bad on this one as some. One I belong to someone posted the same long ad selling fake designer clothing and bags on every single topic in the whole forum. It took the mods a whole day to get it all off again.
Thanks monkey, I appreciate the help a lot. I try to checkup as often as I can, but the more eyes the better, especially in different time-zones. So if anyone else wants to be a moderator and help out then please let me know.
It's very annoying. It's one of the reasons that I don't allow anonymous posting, or uploading of images.
Within about a month of the site being open there was some pretty objectionable spam being posted, so I had to lock things down. I'm constantly deleting posts and accounts. The more popular WFF gets the more of this that seems to be happening
There is a service to coordinate anti-forum spamming efforts with a central black-list of spammer's email addresses and locations. I'm planning to integrate that into WFF in the next month or so, hopefully that will slow the spamming down a bit.
It's very frustrating that we even have to do all this, I'd much rather spend my time making thing better, than mopping up after annoying spammer :/
A lot of it's down to you guys, you've all been great, really friendly and always supportive. I'm continuously amazed by how active WFF has become, it's brilliant.

Thanks everyone and jvv you are definately right, KUDOS to Paul for doing such an excellent job. Sorry I didn't know that symbol was reporting. Another thing I don't know Paul is how to send you a direct message, I was looking for a way to do that too, though it was rather late last night when I was doing that so my brain could have been going into shut down.
