Have you thought of trying some of the yoga?

I think only you and your doctor will be able to decide what you can and can't do. You might have to just look through each one and see which ones you can do.

What sort of movements do you find difficult? That might help us suggest ones that you might be able to do.

I have moderate arthritis in both legs and I find that the easiest exercises when I have flareups are cycling, table tilt, snowball fight, and Bird's-Eye Bulls-Eye. If it's not too bad I can also do the running ones, only at a walking pace instead. Thankfully my flareups are not very frequent so it's seldom that it interferes with my routine.

I know from personal experience that doctors are good at telling you to exercise and then not telling you what exercises to do. The best rule is "If it hurts, don't do that" so I'd recommend trying out a few at a time to see if they strain anything.
