 Post subject: Changes for beginners

Hi all

I am a new wii fit user and have found that some of the strength training and yoga exercises eg jackknife and that sideways press up thingy are just too hard (I am determined to manage it some day !!!) and am really concerned about hurting my back (esp. jacknife) - my back has never been great (mainly due to big boobs!) and a broken ankle, broken foot and baby later its not soo brilliant. Does anyone know of a good resource to show you safe & easy alternatives until I get the strength up to go for the real thing?

Have you tried anything like these? They look like they should be pretty gentle on your back, but go easy, just the same. Pushups/onearmed pushups can be modified by doing them standing against a wall. Hope this helps.

use your own body weight to replace ironweight for training
