The Wii has always attracted a lot of accessories of, how can I put this, dubious quality and usefulness, and with Wii Fit there have been a lot trying to retrofit exercise gear to be used with the Wii.

It's a simple idea, fit the Wii Remote into the handle of the rower, pop your feet into the straps, and it provides resistance as you exercise. To get a feeling for what you might do, watch the wonderfully cheesy video on Amazon product page

At $35 it's actually cheaper than many accessories. However I'm not sure how many Wii Fit exercises would be genuinely improved by this, I can't actually think of many that require you to use the Wii Remote in this way.

It would be a good exercise but I don't know what game you would use it with. Also sitting on the board might be a bit hard on the posterior.

Indeed. On its own it seems like a perfectly sensible bit of kit, I just can't think of any Wii Fit games that it use the Wii Remote in the right way for this to add anything
