EA Sports Active 2.0 is probably the game I am most looking forward to this year. EA have clearly learnt from their experience with the original and have developed their own small, stap-on controllers for your arms and legs which means you will be able to exercise freely while the game records your movements even more precisely, while wirelessly monitoring your pulse to accuratly assess your performance.

The original EA Sports Active has really given Nintendo's Wii Fit a run for its money and probably spurred on a lot of the improvements in Wii Fit Plus. Hopefully EA Sports Active 2.0 will encourage even more innovation in the world of fitness games, there certainly won't be any excuse of poorly thought out and low quality games.
Now the chaps at Kombo.com have a sneak peak at EA Sports Active 2.0, including a video of it in action. This is still a work in progress so a lot can change between now and when the game is released this Autumn, but it already looks pretty good. It looks a little sluggish at times but I expect that will polished by the time it is released.
my understanding is that they are currently planning to release it for the Sony PS3 and Nintendo Wii (not sure about the XBox 360). We should find out more during E3.
With all these new fitness games coming out I'm going to have to rename this site
I have registered the name gamefitforum.com as a possibility, so there may be a revamp in the next few months if I can make the time.
