The National Health Service (NHS) in South Tyneside (UK) are trying to encourage young people to get tested for the sexually transmitted infection chlamydia by giving away a Nintendo Wii. Each person who gives a urine sample gets entered into a draw to win a Wii.
I'm sure some people will think this is taking the piss but to me this sounds like a great idea. Anything that encourages young people to get checked out is good, even if it is a gimmick.
I wonder if they would have chosen a different console if it wasn't called the Wii?
