There's a good thought. And how long before insurance covers the purchase? Well, here in the US that is a good idea.

I have a doctor's appointment in the morning and for the first time in years I expect him to applaud me on my weight loss, though it's not tremendous and I am going to tell him it is because of the WiiFit. I'll suggest he start prescribing it but I doubt that will happen anytime soon.

My doctor was pleased today, I was down 7 pounds since my last check in November. He expects that by my next check which is now 6 months (YEA) my cholesterol will be down too. We talked about prescribing WiiFit, he laughed when I said insurance should cover it. He said I have to worry more about them covering my Vitamin D level check than that. He said they should cover Vitamin D check because it affects our health a great deal. He will though mention WiiFit to his patients that are more resistant to exercise like me.

Great news on your weight loss. It made me remember that since November I have lost, too, even though I am up from my lowest. So that is a good thing.
Wii Fit is fun, and it will make a huge difference for many many lazies like me everywhere.

I should probably get a vit D check, I've been taking supplements for the last couple of months and it seems to have made a real difference to my mood, which I think is an indication that my D levels were very low (unsurprising with this dark winter).

Me too. It helps my moods and therefore functionality, keeps my appetite down, and helps with sleep. An amazing little tiny pill!

2 comments--those of you in GB--don't laugh--I live in Texas (Galveston) and it's been such a COLD & wet winter for us (we actually had a freeze here, which is rare)--it's been great to explore the Wii Island while it's too blustery to explore my real island. Second, I've been sick (flu, I think) for the past week, and I think I'm going thru Wii Withdrawal--I haven't been able to do my regular routine and I can't wait to get back to it.
Still can't figure out how to bicycle on rooftops, but I'm still a novice--I guess it will come with practice!

It won't come easily with practice! But keep working on it.
How is Galveston doing since the hurricane? The last search I did didn't yield any updated information. Hopefully most of the people had gotten away. It didn't sound good when I last read up on it.
