Seems like it would be nice to have the "View unanswered posts • View new posts • View active topics• Mark forums read" options available all the time so we don't have to always go out to the Board index to use them.

Also - if I've chosen "View Active Topics" & I then choose "view the latest" post in one of those topics, I get only the latest post from that topic not the whole topic. In other words, I can read only that post & not the rest of the posts in that topic.
