Hi guys.
I've been doing a lot of tinkering with Wii Fit Forum over the last year, and I've done pretty much everything that I think really needs to be done on the technical side, so I have a bit more time to try and make things better.
However I've spent so much of my time looking at the site that it's hard for me to judge what works and what doesn't work. So I was wondering if there is anything that you guys think needs improving? Such as:
Anything you find hard to do
Confusing layout (I am planning to simplify it a bit but it's good to know which bits are important to people)
Something that might make the site more useful?
Something that might encourage more people to get involved?
Things that might entice more people to the forum?
Or anything else you want to say about the site...
Over the last few months the site has really taken off, and I want to try and keep that momentum going.
Also, thank you to Lajoggeuse, Cynique, and Methusalem who have been fleshing out the Wii Fit Wiki, I've been completely blown away by all your efforts.

I think it's awesome. The only thing that I can think of is the email notifications. The wording of them, and the options for the multiple links confused me at first. It doesn't anymore, but I know it did in the beginning.
As far as participation, that's hard on any message forum, I think there's always going to be some who only read and some who read and respond.
Thanks for all your hard work, it's a great forum!

Thank you for your thanks. I enjoy working on the Wiki and I hope it helps people.
How about a diet recipes section? People often search for diet recipes so it will help to entice more people to the forum. It might also encourage more involvement.

The only thing I can think of is to strip some of our nonsense out of the threads after a period of time. I am not sure if it is agood idea as it does make for some fun not only for the participants but probably for later readers as well. It would make things a lot smaller and easier to find relavent info. I thought of doing it to my own posts sometimes but didn't as I wasn't sure it was a good idea and could make some other posts confusing. Maybe we shouldn't post nonsense but I just can't resist sometimes Just a not so old guys ramblings (did you get that Kescah - not so old )

Hi, I am still finding my feet here but I really like it and think you must work so hard - big thanks!
I am not sure if I am being thick, but I can't tell, when I click on a thread whether I've previously seen it or not - ie some other forums they are bold or have an icon that indicated that there are new threads or posts you haven't seen on a particular thread and they are unbolded once you have read them so you know which ones you have seen. I often forget the title of what I read and go in a couple of times and think - hold on , I just saw that! . Maybe it's just me missing something (I am quite prone to being foggy headed...)
It's just minor really, as this is a brilliant place for all things Wii Fit, so thanks again for running it .

Paul, something I have noticed is that after submitting a post, the screen goes to an accepted one, then a blank entry box, then the new post, and some more screens instead of just back to the thread or active list. Is there a way to shorten this journey to get back to topics?

Moog, if you look at the side of the list of topics in a section there is a thing looks like a piece of paper and then beside it either nothing or a little pinkish square. If it has the pink square then there is something new in that topic that you haven't read and clicking on the square will take you to that post so you don't have to scroll all the way down the topic to read the new post.
There's nothing to mark a section as having something new other than checking the date and time on the right side.
