How to use Nintendo Wii Controller Requirement Images...? Hey, I am about to buy a wii game (mario strikers charged football) and don't really understand the blue controller requirements on the back of the case. There is a picture of a wii remote with a little 2 next to it and a picture of the nunchuck, does this mean it is 2players and nunchuck is optional? Or do i need to buy another nunchuck (i have 1) Thanks in advance

The symbols indicate common controllers: * A dark blue naked controller with a number means the game works up to that many players. * A Nunchuck means the game either requires or can use the Nunchuck, depending on the game. * A controller-in-a-rubber-housing means the game supports Wii Motion Plus (or the unified Wii Remote Plus).
or unusual controllers: * A Wii Balance Board means the game supports that. * A Classic controller means the game supports that. I have one game with this symbol, Monster Hunter Tri.
or other things: * A Wii Speak means the game supports that. Monster Hunter Tri has this symbol. * The 50/60 Hz symbol refers to the TV standard supported (50Hz usually means PAL/SECAM, 60Hz for NTSC, but there are others) * An EDTV/HDTV symbol means that the game supports running in higher-than-normal resolution. Normal is 480i in 4:3. The higher-than-normal modes are things like 480p and 16:9 wide-screen, but not real HD modes like 768p or 1080p.
Support for e.g. DDR mats is not indicated on these symbols. Step to the Beat/Walk It Out supports using a DDR or Family Trainer mat but has symbols for neither of them. I have no idea whether there is a special symbol on games that support/require the uDraw tablet.
If the game has a Nunchuck symbol, I'd advise you to have one per main controller, because they are often easier to play with the Nunchuck, even if it is actually optional.
