I love my Wii Fit Plus and it is getting me off the couch a lot. While I admit that I was a couch-potato in a prior incarnation, the Wii is really helping me change my lazy ways. That said, can someone PLEASE help me get past the sideways log on the third level of the obstacle course?
I'm going bonkers... I've seen comments that the board is a bit slow at responding to the obstacle course (I agree) but if I run faster I end up bouncing too much on the board and it tells me not to jump and boots me back to the start of the level. The alternative seems to be that I get so excited I miss my footing and slip off the board. I've got bad ankles and I'm worried that I'm going to sprain something but it's driving me nuts that I can't pass this level!!!!
I've tried to "jump" when the log rolls toward me but that stops my running and again I get flattened. While I freely admit I need to lose weight and get fit, the log will flatten my spirit before I ever get thin enough to lie down and let the thing roll over me. It only makes matters worse that I have to start back at the beginning every time.
You have to jump over the sideways log. Just a matter of timing to get over it. You can stop running and jump then carry on running until you get the hang of it.
Thank-you... After I wrote my question I found a YouTube video that showed someone doing the course and it showed him jumping... I tried it again and I made it! Guess I just needed to see someone else do it.
