Has anyone been able to jump off the ledge that is opposite the ruin site? You can access it from a tunnel ride. There is always a mii trying to tell me something when I enter this ledge area. I am able to ride my bike up on the rocky ledge to the left of the barricades but I feel certain there is a way down....??? This is on the expert and free ride course.

Not that I know of where the barricades are. If you take the left fork instead of the right one when going up the tunnel, you can bump your way down the side to the ruins road after the tunnel on the right. (It may be only when you are coming the opposite direction, down from the castle. I haven't tried it going up.)

An some times is a dog here. You can pass the barricades and fall down to the paved road. Even you stop in the free ride at the paved road exact under the the ledge and save the fitness cash you would be started next time up on this ledge.

Yes, you enter the tunnel under the waterfall, if you bear right after a short bit (rather than head out of the tunnel toward the castle) you come out onto a ledge with two red barricades. If you climb the rock on your immediate left when you enter the daylight there is a mii trying to tell you something!

I fooled around there for a while today. Somehow I managed to ride my bike halfway down the cliff before I fell onto the road, splat. I also think I turned onto a small stone path somehow, but it was an unexpected turn (meaning I was having trouble turning myself around) and I'm not sure if it was actually a path leading down, or just a bit of ledge. Anyway, I fell, and since I was tired of fooling about, I turned and rode out of the cavern.
I've decided that Mii is just crazy and likes to flap it's arms around for no reason. There's quite a few insane Mii's running around the island and some of them are a bit clumsy and fall flat on their face a lot.
They do fall down a lot, don't they? When I was on the ledge, there was a fellow waving his arms and running away from me. When I came back from the barricade, I found he was replaced by another crazy mii.
I'm of 2 minds--there are Miis that clap their hands for absolutely no reason other than to engage in SIB (self-injurious behavior) and others who clap their hands to cheer one on---I'm not convinced, anymore, that the Miis who clap their hands are trying to covertly send a "come hither" or "go yon" message.
