I've just lost another 2 kilos thanks to WiiFit and a change in eating habits. Not bad for just after the holidays.
One of the things that keeps me going is the daily weigh-in. Yes, I know it doesn't necessarily mean all that much, but it does keep me from indulging in forbidden foods, at least, not more than occasionally. Knowing that I will have to face the music the next day keeps me much more honest than I would otherwise be.
Another thing that keeps me going is the cartoon Wii Board character. Odd as it may seem, the cartoon character makes the whole process more 'human' than weighing in with an ordinary set of scales and keeping track of my exercise time with pen and paper.
I made this goal with a few days to spare so I set the next one for 2 kilos as well. We shall see.

I usually only weigh in once a week now but in the beginning I faithfully weighed in everyday. It helped keep me on the right track. I knew I had to allow for slight fluctuations but it really helps motivate me to see even tiny bits of progress and as the donut is heading for my mouth I think Oh Wii isn't going to like this. Seems stupid that having a video balance board tell you that you're bad can make a difference!
My best was when we went away for 5 days and the only exercise I had was walking. I watched my food intake really carefully and it was great to come home and see that I had stayed on track. I'm more confident now that I can make good choices no matter where I am and work some exercise in to stay fit.
I love going back and checking my graph too. Seeing where I started and the steady decline is really motivating.

Well, you're lucky that you've had a steady decline. Mine goes up and down, but I know that is partly due to having only carpet space for wii and it's less accurate on that. Overall I have had a decline so that keeps me motivated. Today I had a 10 lb. loss, but that's because I had to fast for 36 hours before a procedure. I'm going to try to have much more moderate food intake so that the rebound wieght gain isn't too much.
