Yeah I was pretty sure that I had gotten a good deal, that's why I couldn't pass it up!
We are actually doing the easy workout that's what is so funny to me, my weakness is endurance it always has been! I am strong for short periods of time, but after about 10 minutes I am almost dead in that game. My mom beat me at Heavy Bag and in line skating today, I can't get the jumping part and in Heavy Bag I can't do the 300 punches consistantly like she does. We work out side by side in this, so It discourages me when she kicks my butt!
When we did the More workouts today, I killed her in the water skiing and obstacle course but that's because she can't do lunges LOL! I love both of these games don't get me wrong, but it's kind of confusing to me why I get so winded doing this. I have worked up to the advanced level in Gold's Gym cardio workout, and I get 99% when I do them too. I do that for 45 minutes and I have no pain, that's why I can't understand why I can't do the EA sports one?? I will keep trying to get better at it, but I have been working out on it for 18 days straight so I am sticking to my plan of working out for an hour for every day.
Plus it's nice to have this forum as a sounding board for my WII issues..........

Well me and my mom are still working out daily on the Wii, we are actually doing the Ea Games 30 day challenge. And then we take a 5 minute break and start into the 6 week challenge on the Ea Games more workouts. I haven't weighed myself since I started either program, I want to wait until I finish the both of them to see my real results at the end of the 6 week mark. I feel like I am not losing much weight, but I am feeling the fat turning into muscle and I can actually see the difference in my arms legs and butt!
Yesterday I actually bought 2 Wii Remote sensitivity enhancers, you know those things that help the Wii read your movements better? And I also bought a wireless sensor bar for under the T.V., it has an extended range from left to right and up and down. I noticed when playing squash that when you would lunge to left or right it would lose my position, and that got very annoying when you are going on a 29 hit streak and you lose that because of that stupid sensor bar.
I am also still doing the Gold's Gym cardio workout, I think that is the best workout out of all of them. I went to Wal-Mart and bought a really cool Gold's Gym resistance band to use as well, It has the ability to hook more than one band on at a time to give you up to 60lbs. resistance. I currently use 25-30lbs. and am comfortable with that, especially in the overhead presses it feels great! I promise to keep you posted on our progress.

Update:
So today was my 31st day on the Wii Fit. I am half way through the EA games 30 day challenge, and I am 3 weeks into the 6 week challenge on EA games more workouts. I started off on December 16th, 2009 at 165.3 lbs., I weighed myself today and I was so excited to see that I weighed 156 lbs. so I have almost lost 10 pounds in a month! My mom went from 213 lbs. down to 207 lbs, and she is really happy with all of her hard work. I don't do the WII Fit Plus any more as it isn't enough of a challenge, I am addicted to the EA Games and I do both of them back to back every day for about an hour work out. I am extremely excited about the weight loss, I even wore a pair of jeans today that I haven't been able to wear in 3 years.
Good work! I find the EA Active to be really addictive. It started out as something I "had" to do everyday but now if I miss a day I feel like I've forgotten something. Getting my workout in gives me more energy and just a general feeling of wellness. I too find that I only use Wii Fit Plus for some fun games and relaxing while EA is my real workout. Keep us posted on your progress!

I AM TOTALLY EXCITED ABOUT THIS UPDATE!!!!!!!
I weighed in today for the hell of it, and I lost another 2.2 lbs taking me down to 154 lbs. Which also took me from the overweight block down to NORMAL, that really made me feel like all of this hard work has been paying off! The first few weeks it didn't seem like I was losing that much, but now It is getting easier for me to do my excersizes and I am not hurting so bad any more. As a matter of fact several other people at work have bought the Wii Fit, and we have a kind of support group in person as well as this site. Very very motivating to see myself losing weight, my goal weight is 140 lbs which I was at about 6 years ago. Then I would be extremely happy and healthy, and It has also given me a new way to live and eat healthy.
Side Note: I also quit drinking alchohol completely, I used to drink every day about two drinks. I don't smoke thank god, and I don't even worry about picking up that habit. So I know I have the motivation and self-control to do this, and I love how I feel every day.

Fantastic, it's always great to hear people doing so well
I think the day the Wii Fit categorised me as Overweight, and not Obese, I was sooo chuffed. It's funny how these labels can mean so much.
Now to get down to Normal I'm currently about half way down, so still a way to go, but I only need to lose about half of what I've already lost, so I know I can do it.

It's funny I never thought that going down a level in weight would mean that much, but it is really encouraging to see! I actually just bought Jillian Michael's Pilates yesterday, I am quite flexible and I am hoping that program helps me with my core muscles. Next week I was contemplating buying the YOUR SHAPE program, but they want $80 at Best Buy and I am not sure that it's worth that much money. It looks cool though because it is completely free style, and I like the idea of not having to hold the remotes all the time. I shall keep you posted on my progress, my mom is getting frustrated but I am trying to keep her on track.
As much as I have a love/hate relationship with the remotes I still prefer the EA Sports workouts to any other that I have. I bought My Fitness Coach and the exercises are good but hard to follow sometimes and it doesn't care if you keep up. I never know for sure whether I've really done the workout properly or not. Maybe the My Shape one will be better because it uses the camera but I'll wait for the review from Paul.
