I was just at Target tonight and I THINK they had your shape for 70.00. Paul, I'm trying to decide between EA Sports More Workouts and My Fitness Coach, and now Your Shape for my next game, I would love to see more reviews on both My Fitness Coach and Your Shape. It seems as most people really love EA Sports more workouts, not sure if I should have to "earn" that more.

Hiya, I've just posted my review of EA Sports Active - More Workouts [url=http://www.wiifitforum.org/review-ea-sports-active-more-workouts-t676.html]in the reviews section[url]. In short, it's a great improvement on the original.

I should have a review of Your Shape at the weekend.

I would definitely invest in More Workouts over any of the other choices. I have My Fitness Coach and it's alright but I really like the structure of More Workouts. There is no accountability in My Fitness Coach. You could just stand there the whole time and Maya will be telling you how great you're doing. She moves so quickly sometimes it's really hard to follow her and she spends a lot of time finding the beat of the music and resting between exercises. I find myself telling her to hurry up and get on with it quite often.

I bought it just as I finished my 6 week challenge with More Workouts and planned on doing a month or so with My Fitness Coach but after a week I just wasn't feeling like I had really done much and went back to More Workouts. I may end up using it occasionally but I think I wouldn't have been any worse off it I hadn't bothered buying it at all.

Well today was my last day of the 30 day challenge, so all In all I lost 9lbs. from the start of that challenge. I am half way through the 6 week challenge, and I am going to finish it out by itself for the next three weeks as it is getting harder and harder. Once I finish it I am going to do the Gold's Gym for a half an hour a day, and I will do another 6 week challenge on intermediate workout. I felt that by the time I cut out all the running on the original EA Games, I was basically only getting 40 calories of workout which was about 10 minutes. My ankles just hurt horribly when I did the running, so I don't do that any more which is where a lot of the calories went.

Today I was on the Wii Fit Plus for about an hour, and I did an 18 minute stint on the island cycling. It said that I went 5.429 miles, that can't be accurate but it did hurt like hell though. The backs of my legs felt like rocks, and for the first time I wasn't all out of breathe LOL! On friday I gained .5 lbs., on saturday I gained 1.5lbs. and today I gained .5 lbs which took me back into the overweight category dammit! Not to sound gross or anything, but I believe it is because my period is coming up next week. I just wonder how much I will gain because of that, I know it's menstrual stuff because I having been cheating on my diet and I actually gave up meat last week. Today was my first experience with veggie burgers, and I must say they were very tasty! I promise to keep you updated as we progress, mom is still hovering around 202 and holding.........

I only have 4 days left on the EA Games more workouts 6 week challenge, and I am very happy with the results so far. Since I am waiting until I am done with the 6 week challenge, I decided to fool around on the Wii Fit Plus again. I started off on the Yoga, and boy did I get a huge surprise! I did the infamous "TREE" on both legs and didn't fall over on either one, It gave me a score of 84 because I was fidgeting a little bit but I was really proud of myself. Then I decided to do the advanced Yoga positions, well I actually completed the shoulder stand with no problem. I wasn't able to touch my toes to the floor behind my head all the way, mom said I was about an inch from making the complete movement. And then when hoisting myself up I had no issues, but I have always had great upper body strength so that could have been it too.
Once I am done with the 6 week challenge, I am going to do it solo on the high intensity level. I know that I can do it physically, I just have to push myself mentally! I will let you know If I can actually do it, or if I wash out and quit because it's too hard. I am going to have my dad motivate me on that 6 weeks, he is an ex-USMC drill sergeant and he did that for 20 years so he will be a perfect motivator. He will yell and scream at me, but that only makes me try harder and to prove to him that I can do it. BOOT CAMP STARTS ON MONDAY,............HOOOOOOORAAAAAAAAH!!!!!!!!

You should have no problem with the hard intensity now. It's the same exercises just with more reps. I find the exercises on More Workouts to be a little easier than the Personal Trainer ones. PT is more like Boot Camp for sure.

Well today I finished my 6 week challenge, and I am very happy with my 13 lbs. I have lost with it! :D

Today I went and bought the Fitness Trainer 2, which I guess is the brand new game so I figured I would give it a try. Holy cow is that a crazy workout, I felt horrible during most of the excersizes which surprised me. I was seriously dissapointed in it, I think I will stick to my EA GAMES. They set unrealistic goals for me, but my mom said it was how I set it up so I am going to redo my profile. They have the ARMY training boot camp thing, and they have a dancer program that is super hard. I think for $29.95 I bought a dud this time, I probably should have stuck with my Gold's Gym, EA Games and Jillian Michaels Pilates LOL! I am holding steady at 153 lbs. which is good, It seems like I am stuck at that point but maybe I need to work out more. Until next time.......

I've never heard of that program. Who makes it? I have My Fitness Coach and it's alright but I still like the EA Active's much better. I decided to do another 6 week challenge except not to take any rest days. I've managed to get 17 days straight in so far. The ab exercises are really working, I have a 2 pack now. Only need to get 4 more for my 6 pack!

Sometimes when you hit a plateau with weight you need to give your metabolism a shake up. If you have an idea of your average calorie intake you can try eating a bit more for a few days then drop your intake by about 300 to 500 calories per day for a few days then go back to your original intake. It seems to make your body readjust it's idea of what "normal" is. I had read about it but ended up trying it by accident. We went on vacation and I ate too much for a few days then decided to cut back from my normal intake to make up for it when we got home. I had been stuck at one weight for a bit and wanted to lose more yet and that seemed to get me off that plateau. I've done it a couple times since when I was stuck and it worked again. Maybe something to give a try.
