Only for a couple days and not an excessive amount, just a couple hundred more calories. Having a few treats one or 2 days a week keeps dieting from becoming all work and no play. You just have to watch the treats. It's unbelievable the amount of calories and fat in some things I used to have as treats.

Okay so the My Fitness Coach is made by Ubisoft or something like that, It is a total dud In my opinion. I am completely dissapointed in the program, even on the easy level it is so hard you can't even keep up with the instructor. I weighed in today and I am down to 150lbs., very very happy for myself since I am actually not torturing myself food wise. Mom mom lost another pound, and she is now at 198 lbs. We love the Wii Fit and all it has to offer, and today I picked up Daisy Fuentes Pilates and it is an awesome workout. It works all of the muscle groups that you don't realize how weak they are, I give this new game 5 thumbs up! I shall keep you updated in our progress.

I have My Fitness Coach and I like it except it that it doesn't use the remotes at all so there's really no tracking of what you are doing. It bases your routine on what you tell it when you do the initial set up so it's really important to be honest with that or it gives you a much harder or easier routine than you want. It does ask after certain points during the workout if you found it easy, just right or too hard and it will adjust the next workout to meet that.

I like a lot of the exercises, it's something different and I have a workout ball so there are some really good ab exercises with it. I did find that there wasn't a lot of instruction on how to do things and I gave up on trying to mirror the trainer. The fact that she is facing you and going in hyper speed most of the time makes it impossible to track with her. I just do the exercise at my rate and hope for the best. I also find it really annoying that she spends so much time "getting the beat" of the elevator music that they play.

EA Sports Active's 2 workout games are by far the best if you want a real gym style workout. Lots of instruction, uses the remote and nunchuk for tracking, and provides good feedback on how you are doing. You can choose your level of difficulty at easy, medium or hard and you have the option to skip any exercises that you can't or don't want to do (although that kind of defeats the purpose of working out).

Last weekend I bought Jillian Michael's Pilates workout, and boy is that fun LOL! I can do about 50% of the excersizes, but that game requires major flexibility which I am working on. I do like it overall even though there are on;y 10 different excersizes, they stress the proper way to do them instead of how many reps you can do. I am currently doing the Gold's Cardio Gym for an hour a day, plus I do the hardcore workout on the Pilates game. In the Gold's Gym I do 1,000-1,2000 punches a day, and I do 53 crunches in 3 minutes, 3 minutes of jump rope, 5 minutes of roadwork (running), 55 squats in 3 minutes, and I also do mitt work for 3 minutes. It burns about 200 calories for all of that, but it is a fun way to work my frustration out. So far I am still at 151 lbs., I have been fluctuating a little bit but I have had a lot of stress lately at work.

Mom went back over 200 lbs., but she had a lot of stuff she shouldn't have had over the weekend. She does both of the EA Games each day, and she has been sticking to it but the eating thing is getting her. She tried to do the cardio boxing and almost had a heart attack on easy, and she gets tired just from looking at the Pilates I do.

Recently I have acquired eating a lot of the morningstar stuff, I am not 100% vegetarian but it's close. There veggie chicken nuggets are awesome and so are the patties, there veggie burgers are good as well especially the tomato basil one's. I eat a bag of fruit, and a fresh veggie each day at work versus my old habits of chips and chocolate. I am up to drinking about 6 bottles of water a day, where as before I was just drinking pop and junk like that. Stay tuned for more updates, I am so stoked about getting under 150 lbs. I am trying really hard! 8-)

I'm impressed Trplx. How are your clothes fitting. I have only lost 10 pounds but today I was thrilled when I found my old painting jeans (size 14) that were rather tight two years ago, today they fit perfectly. All my other jeans (16) are getting quite loose. I don't want to go shopping just yet, would love to get down to a 12 first. Thanks for the Pilates review. Instead of buying new clothes right away I'm going to get new WiiFit games. Then I should really need to go clothes shopping. Tell mom to keep at it.

I did actually notice my clothes fitting looser here lately, my shirts used to fit tight and now they are actually natural fitting. My mom is wearing pants that she couldn't fit into since back in the 90's, she is really excited about losing the weight too. Today I went on another hunt for some new games, and boy did I find a winner!! I bought the Your Shape game that comes with the web cam thing, all I can say is WOW!!!! Me and mom worked on that thing for 2 hours today for fun, it is a huge workout that targets everything! I can see losing huge amounts with it, It is more of a workout than the EA Games even! I did a 15 minute cardio workout on it, and then I did 15 minutes on the Yoga program. The Yoga on My shape is way harder and more fun at the same time, plus not having to use any remotes is a big plus for me. It is all free style, but it mirrors your image next to the trainer's so you can see how close you are to doing it. It was $69.99 at game stop so kind of pricey, but I can already feel it targeting different areas than my other excersize programs.

My next things to buy are an excersize ball for the Your Shape program, and a set of free weights to enhance the work out. I also bought My Fitness Coach because it was only $19.99, I hated the 2nd one but I am hoping this first one is better. You guys made me want to try the first one, so I hope it's not as bad as the 2nd one was. I am going to try it out tomorrow so I'll let you know, I am thinking about buying the "Just Dance" program next weekend because they say that is a workout in it's own right!

Side note on food things, I have stopped eating ground beef or red meat completely but not vegetarian. I substitute turkey for everything, turkey hot dogs, turkey sausage, turkey kielbasa, ground turkey for hamburger helper and chili. Also we stopped off at Long John Silver's today, and I found out they have 3 meals for under 350 calories!! I had the grilled tilapia, mixed veggies, and rice pilaf and it was delicious and I also had water to drink. I am really trying to change my eating habits, but eating out is a problem on the weekends so I try to find alternative restaurants. Keeping you posted as promise, this site is awesome to keep track with plus everybodys motivation!!!

This morning I got on the Wii, and I did a half an hour on the Your Shape program and all I can say is wow! I got a 73% on accuracy for all of the workouts I did, and It said I burned 478 calories which really blew me away! I am going to start tomorrow doing 45 minutes on the Your Shape program, and I am going to do it for a month and see how I do. I have a sneaking feeling that this program is really going to cause some massive weight loss, and my mom is also going to 15 minutes of it each day along with the EA Games more workouts. It definately makes you move crazy fast, my shirt and shorts were soaked with sweat today after the 30 minute workout! I also bought a Gold's Gym excersize ball today at Wal-Mart for $9.00, it came with a foot pump so it wasn't too bad to fill it up with air. I bought it to help me with push ups since I have such a hard time, and I tried 5 of them today and for the first time my shoulders didn't hurt while doing them. It seems to cushion your back while you do them, I am very excited to start using it tomorrow. Until then, tah tah for now!

I almost forgot mom weighed herself again today, and she lost another 2.2 lbs. taking her down to 196!!!! I am not weighing myself until probably wednesday, because I started my period and I am all swelled up LOL! I also came up with a healthy dessert to eat instead of junk, and it's super low calories. Blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, and no fat cool whip and we make a kind of fruit sundae. Mom loves it and so do I, It just sucks that raspberries are $5.00 for a tiny carton!!

I just got an exercise ball too, but I'm bringing it to work to use as my chair. It may take me a while to get used to it but it's supposed to help your core muscles. I'm kind of afraid of the video cam thing, don't think my accuaracy will be anything close to yours. I'll consider it though. I love hearing what other people think of the other games.

LOL! My mom is the same way about the camera, she won't let anyone be in the room while she is doing it yet she loves to laugh at me jumping around. I know one thing though, it makes you very conscious of how well you are really doing the excersizes. I have done the your shape for 3 days now, and each day I have burned between 450-500 calories which is a lot to me. I am still right at 149lbs. which I am so happy about, and my mom keeps losing weight along with me. She says it's a great motivator to have the two of us doing it at the same time, that way you can push each other to do better. The excersize ball is coming in handy for a lot of the excersizes, and I wish I could take mine to work but it is way nasty inside of a factory.

I think this weekend I am going to buy that Just Dance program, you tube has some great videos on how much of a workout that really is. I have never really been into dancing because I was out of shape, but I think I could get into it now that I am working out. Until next time..........
