Yup, the closer you get to your ideal weight the harder it is to get that last bit off. You may have to do a futher calorie reduction to get the last of it gone. Your body gets used to the calorie intake and exercise level you are at so you have to step it up to get the extra boost.
I wouldn't worry about weight fluctuations. Actually weighing yourself everyday like the Fit Board likes is really not a good thing to do. There are so many factors that effect your weight from day to day it can be disheartening. Also the ice cream you eat today won't immediately turn to fat that you'll see on a weigh in tmw. It's much more gradual than that.

Back again!
I am still hovering at 144lbs. which I am happy with, but you know losing weight is an addiction so I am still working at it. Me and mom went to the store today, and we came across a bunch of pants that were on sale so we picked up a couple of pairs. Before I started the Wii Fit I used to wear a size 14 or 34" waist, and today I bought a size 11/12 and they were still too big! I took them back and got a size 9/10 and they fit perfect, I was blown away that I lost 8" off of my waist. I haven't worn that size pants since high school which was about 10 years ago!
Mom has worn a size 18/19 since I can remember, she went and tried on a pair of 16/17 and they were loose fitting so she bought them also. We were both so excited at how much we lost, and it just motivated us to do more. My mom is still hovering at around 197lbs., but she is happy with the weight she has lost so far. I am trying to get her to switch programs on the Wii, I think she is getting worn out on the EA Games. She gets discouraged with the Your Shape because she can't move that fast like me, so I might be able to pursuade her into doing the Gold's Gym boxing because she likes to take her anger that way.
I went way off the map on my cuisine for next week's work meal's, check this out LOL!
Veggie Shreds (70 calories per 1/4 cup organic shredded cheese that isn't really cheese, it's good but very different.) Organic Chocolate milk 2% (90 calories for 1 cup) Organic fat free soy milk (35 calories for 1 cup, very bland but not too bad!) Morningstar Grilled Chicken Patties (80 calories per patty, nasty smell and taste. Never buy these again, ewwh!!!) Morningstar Asian sweet and spicy veggie burgers (100 calories per patty, excellent taste and smell, my new favorite.) Raw sliced mushrooms Fat Free Ranch Croutons (35 calories per 6 pieces) Wishbone Ceasar reduced fat dressing (50 calories per 2 tablespoons) Spring Mix Salad (15 calories per 2 cups spinach, red and green leaf lettuce, aruguila)
I mix all of this together is measured portioned, and I cut one of the veggie patties in strips and lay it on top of the salad as an added treat. The whole thing is ruffly 200-250 calories which is really good, and it is a nice change from what I have been eating. I cook a lot more now that I am dieting, before I would eat out a lot to the tune of several hundred dollars a month.

Well I finally broke the spell that was cast on me, I lost 2lbs. last week and now I am down to 143lbs.! Mom is down to 195lbs. again, she is glad to be back down to where she was before. I am still using the Your Shape program, except starting today I am doing 45 minutes instead of 30 minutes and I burn 800 calories in that time. It is an extreme workout to say the least, this is not for the weak at heart. My mom is still doing the EA Games More Workouts, but I got her to start doing 15 minutes on the Your Shape but she has a hard time.
This week I made a stir fry with steak strips and bok choy, snow peas, broccoli florets, water chestnuts, bamboo, carrots, mini corns, and some soy sauce and it is excellent. I figured it up and it falls into the under 200 calorie meal for a gladware container full. I also bought some sugar free JELLO pudding pops, and they only have 40 calories each.
That is one of my favourite meals. I love making a stir fry with lots of vegetables, really filling with few calories and lots of good vitamins.
Good work with Your Shape. I quit using mine and went back to Active. I found Your Shape to be a bit frantic for me. Maybe if I had more time to really get into the program I would enjoy it more.

monkey41 that Your Shape program is definately hard when first starting out, my mom wants to quit it but I keep on her about not giving up. My biggest problem with that game is the physical tests which come on randomly. If you get more than 90% on a routine, it will automatically "step it up!" and make you work even harder and faster. Right when I get in a rhythm it gets harder the next day, but I enjoy kicking the trainer's butt every day!
March 16th is my goal deadline, and I am so damn close I can taste it! I only need to lose 0.7lbs. to make my goal, and it just so happens I started my woman thing today so that made me gain weight! I am currently at 142lbs. which I am super happy with, but I am still going to try and lose more weight. I am going to try and get down to what the Wii says is normal which is 130lbs., I haven't been that weight since I was in junior high school.
Mom is stalled out on 195lbs. but she is still trying hard, I also bought a set of various free weights to use with the Your Shape. I got a set of 3lb. weights, 5lb. weights, 8 lb. weights, and a set of 10lb. weights for my bicep curls. I am more leaning towards toning and shaping now, but I have gotten a ton of compliments from people about how much better I look. The weights are an awesome addition to my workout as well, I will keep on truckin to my goal however teadious it might be!

I set a new goal of 10 lbs. to drop down to 130lbs., that is what I would love to maintain my weight at. Mom wants to drop about another 40lbs. which I think she can do, but we shall see how much she can motivate herself.

Congratulations to both you and your mom!!! I admire you and especially your mother since she has not seen as much weight loss progress as you have. I'm 62 and can relate to your mom's difficulties.

MORE PROGRESS!
Mom is doing awesome with her routine, she has lost a lot more weight since I last signed on. She is down to 191.8lbs., she totally freaked out when she saw that. She tries to stick to a better diet, but dad is a bad influence with fried food and other stuff. She is still doing the EA Sports More Workouts, and she is also still doing the Your Shape program but she now does it for 30 minutes and she is able to score 70% on it now.
I have lost a couple more pounds since last time, I am down to 137.8lbs. and I am so happy about how I look. Last week it seemed like I had bottomed out at 140lbs., so I decided to shake it up a little bit. I still do 45 minutes of the Your Shape program but I also do 15 minutes of running/jogging on the GAZELLE, It is a no impact running machine that I had bought for my mom years ago but she never used it. She still won't use it but I am trying to get her back on it, so I think that is what started me back on losing weight. This summer I am also planning on biking some around our neighborhood, I should be able to do 4 miles easy now that I am in shape.
So far mom has lost 18lbs., and I have lost 28.0lbs. Literally the Wii has changed both of our lives, and I am also gettiung people at work int it as well! Until next time peoples.......

Over the last week I had went to my lowest weight so far since starting the Wii, I got down to 134.7lbs. but that didn't last long. That time of the month hit and now I am back at 137.4lbs., but I know that is only temporary so I won't be freaking out too bad about it. I am still doing fifteen minutes on the Gazelle every day, but now I am at a point of almost running on it.
Mom is down to 187.8lbs., she can almost fit into my old pants! She is seriously sticking with her diet very well, and she excersizes pretty much every day with me.
I bought a pair of Sketchers Shape Ups (shoes) yesterday, and all I got to say is holy cow! They are unlike anything I have ever tried before, it's like you are walking on a pillow all the time. I even ran some freestyle at work last week, and I didn't have any knee pain which is normal for me while running. They were $99.99US at Shoe Carnival, when they are selling them for $129.00US at Foot Locker. My mom wants a pair so bad now, so I think I will have to break down and buy her a pair. I use them while working out and I noticed a huge difference, I can actually do the running and hopping with no problem.
