I don't remember if they were Sketchers but they had shoes like that at our Walmart for $29.99 last week. Might be a knock off but probably have the same effect. I tried them on and figured I'd most likely kill myself wearing them. I can't imagine trying to go down stairs!

Thanks for the Wal-Mart tip, I will have to look for them at my local store next weekend. I am loving my Sketchers though, they make my back and legs feel so much better.

I lost some more weight since last time I was on, I am now down to 132.9lbs. and I feel sexier than I have ever felt! I am sorry if I shouldn't say that on here, but I don't know how else to explain it. Mom is back up around 190lbs., she just can't do without the ice cream for one day. That's all for now!

I think feeling sexier is a damn good thing to be feeling :)

I don't know if it's just the physical change, or that combined with an increase in confidence but I definitely feel that way. Funnily enough the confidence has come as much from the feeling of achievement and self control, as from the loss in weight.

How do the Sketchers shoes work? I've seen them advertised but I didn't really understand what they were supposed to do.

Well it's been a crazy week, as I am finally moving out on my own at 28 years old LOL! I have been stressed as a result, and I lost even more weight. I am down to 131.2lbs., mom went back up to 191 and she is very upset about her back slide.

Paul the Sketchers shoes are supposed to correct bad posture, increase blood flow, and tighten your buttocks supposedly. I can only account for two things, first being that I have no more lower back pain at work while I'm wearing them. Second being that my feet don't hurt me any more, which used to be bad because I am flat footed in the worst way. I actually bought a second pair today for home and excersizing, my one's I bought for work are filthy from factory work which Is why I bought the second pair.

My birthday is coming up on May 11th, and I am contemplating making that a huge cheat day! I am talking about a 3,000 calorie dinner, and then going home and doing about 4 hours on the wii! :o

Hehe, happy birthday in advance :)

I think it's always good to have the occasional blowout. Being constantly good is hard work!

Those sketchers sound really interesting. I might have to give them a go.

Congrates Trplx on moving out on your own, it's a big step and can be lonely at times (don't submit to emotional eating) but in the long run is GREAT!

I am very happy to report that after 9 days of no Wii (7 days on mission trip and 2 days recovering from bronchitis I got on trip), I lost 4 pounds!! And tonight a client said, "you've lost weight, you're belly is gone". Well it's not completely gone and I'll probably never have six pack abs, but for someone to see that it is smaller feels JUST GREAT!! I think I may have mentioned before that I am down two sizes (and that was after only a 15 pound loss). I think that with the tax refunds we are getting I will reward my hard work with the Shape program and will think about those Sketchers. My neighbor got a pair and she likes them too. :D 8-)
