I use this simple Wii Fit routine in the early morning to get me moving and wake me up for the day, it has the added benefit of making me feel less hungry for most of the morning.
It takes about 30 minutes. As there are only three or four step, you waste little time changing.
Do the basic body test so you have weighed yourself.
Warm up with the advanced step routine - gets the body and brain going.
6 minutes of Hoola-hoop to work those core muscles and get warm.
Finish off with a long rhythm boxing session (10 minutes) to burn some calories and get that heart pumping.
If I have time, then I might squeeze in a short run around the island.
I find I can squeeze that in every morning pretty easily and it really sets me up for the day. I think doing a little exercise every day is better for me than saving it all up for a few big sessions during the week.

Is there a STEP to increase height of wii fit board? I've searched but not found one yet. the board is too low - compared to 'real step aerobics'
Hi Nicky,
I too have been looking for something to safely raise the balance board up, but I've not found anything. Given the number of accessories for the balance board, I'm surprised that noone has made one. It would have to be something that would hold the balance board securely otherwise you could have a nasty accident. If you do find something, please let us know, I think a lot of people would like something like that.
An alternative, and something that would work for boxing as well, it a set of ankle weights. They would make your legs do more work while stepping around.

Wow I could do with a raise for the board too. It really isn't that much of a workout on steps with it 2 cm off the ground! But at $80....
Your routine sounds great! I should really try one in the morning as I am always groggy and tired, maybe that's what I need to try And your activities are good choices too, I will start tomorrow and see if it makes any difference (to my personality AND my weight )

I found a rise for step aerobics at best buy for the wii balance board it is by Everlast. It is designed for the board. It fits very secure. I am sorry I can't remember how much it is but its no one near $80 dollars I am sure. It adds about 3 inches.
