After I put on my new Neoprene Cover, the Wii Fit showed that I weighed 7 pounds less, which would be great news if it were true. I use my Wii Fit on carpet so I have to use the footies that came with it. Is anyone else able to use the neoprene cover and the carpet footies?

Thanks for your help.

Hi, is this one of those covers that completely covers the board, or is it just a pad held in place with straps?

You might want to check that the neoprene cover isn't getting caught between the feet and main body of the board.

I use the cover with the foot extensions and it works fine. Just make sure the the cover is going over the extensions and not between them and the feet of the board.

The one I bought is made by Pelican and has straps around the corners. It was an impulse buy at WalMart and now that I have looked on the internet, it appears I should have purchased the style with the nubs that fit into the screw head holes.

I'm not sure that I will like the Silicone style though because I have two long hair cats and I'm afraid their hair will be attracted to the silicone cover.

Mine is a Pelican and fits nicely with the feet on. I tried to find a pic of it online with no success. It has cut outs where the feet go through. I like it because if it gets dirty I can just throw it in the wash instead of trying to clean a white plastic device that isn't supposed to get wet. I've had no problem with it affecting the weighing factor of the board.

I also bought the neoprene slip cover, and I think I slide worse on it than I did on just the plain board. I am thinking about buying the silicone one, because that seems like you could balance very well on that versus the other type.

This is actually a comment regarding the use of the Wii on carpet, as mentioned by the initial poster. I also tried to use my Wii on carpet with the foot extensions, but it wasn't working quite right, so I got a small wooden board and used it between the Wii and the carpet, without the extensions. I've had no problems since...

I have a stretchy green cover and don't recommend it. I thought it might help steady my feet during standing yoga poses, but it gets a little damp and slippy. It also doesn't fit the board as closely as I'd like. Just FYI.
