In my previous post I explained that I was moving Wii Fit Forum to a new server and now I can reveal why :) We now have a Wii Fit Wiki where we can start to document all those secrets, quick routes, and hints and tips that people have been uncovering over the past few month.

Some of the discussions on the site have been getting pretty long with hundreds of comments about different routes to take, or all the little secret easter-eggs that people have found in Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus. It's become quite hard to find things, so I'm hoping that the Wiki will make things easier to find and organise.

The Wii Fit Wiki uses the same system as Wikipedia, so if you have used that then you can use this :)

You can login to the wiki with your existing Wii Fit Forum username and password and start contributing right away.

I'm having problems logging in. It keeps telling me I have an invalid account name. I don't know why, because I have checked several time and I am typing in my account name and password the way I do on this forum. Is it the underscore in my account name that is giving problems? At the moment, it won't even let me try to log in again.

Any suggestions? I really want to start contributing to the wiki.

Ah, good point.

Unfortunately usernames in MediaWiki (the software used for the wiki), can only have letters and numbers in them.

If you would like I can change your username to something that would work. Alternatively you could create another account with just letters and numbers in it.

I will investigate a better long term fix. However that requirement is quite fundamental to the way MediaWiki works :( I can impose a restriction on usernames in the forum though, so that they meet the MW requirements.

Could you change my username to lajoggeuse, then? It's just my current username sans the underscore. I would prefer not to create another account as everyone knows me under this username and it is the name I use on the stats page.

There are others on this forum that use an underscore as well. I don't know how many, but I have seen them.

Anyway, thanks.

Hi there. I've removed the _ from your name.

I have never contributed to a Wiki before & am by no means a WiiFit expert but there are several contributions in the Wiki that are hard to understand because of grammar & unfamiliarity with the English language - is it customary to edit those contributions to make them grammatically correct?

Not bad idea, but the problem I see is should the grammar in British or American English.
I think Paul will not amused over a grammar changing fight (GB – US) in his wiki.

Lam321f - please feel free to tidy up bits of the wiki, especially if there is something that is difficult to understand. That's what wikis are all about :)

I have no personal preference of US/UK spelling. So long as it makes sense then it's all good.
