Nintendo have promised to increase manufacturing capacity in time for this holiday season so we should see fewer queues frantic parents fighting to get hold of one for little Johnny's Christmas present.

I've never held with the idea that Nintendo artificially restricted supply of consoles for the last two Christmases. Unlike Sony and Microsoft, they made a profit on every box sold right from the start. The fact that they have outsold the PS3 and XBox360 combined also demonstrates that they have a hell of a lot of manufacturing capacity.
