Just replaced the batteries in the board and now for some strange reason when you go into Wii fit and pick a character it pickes the wrong mii. We have 4 mii setup, mum, dad, Lauren and Emma. Now when we pick a character say dad, the system picks up Emma or somebody different each time, and so on and so on. When we pick a person the system picks somebody else.

Have you switched off the Wii console while you replace the batteries?Sound as the board use the same Bluetooth channel as one remote. Try to new synchronise the board. Description for this is in the manual page "Using the Wii Balance Board". Attention as the point 3 that says, you should not press the "synchro" button to long!
