Good Morning, and happy friday to everyone.
I just recently started having a problem with the advanced step; it will not register my left foot for the first routine. once i start going from side to side or the one foot its fine.... really distracting to say the least. We tried changing the batteries, but didnt help. Do i need a new board? Has anyone else experienced this?

Other than the above problem am continuing to make slow and steady progress and feeling better than i have in years!

Hi.
I tend to have the same issue as you. When I would step sideways back up on the board one of my feet wouldn't register as a step. Mostly it's when I do the purple stepping.

I realized that instead of stepping on to it with both feet side by side, I was putting one foot ahead of the other. Does that make sense? I am thinking that the board is sensitive.

Also, if you look at the board you can see where your feet go and there is that little section in the middle between your feet. I figured that while doing advanced step that I needed to keep my feet in those sections and not in the middle. That is when I noticed the missing steps on the screen. So, I started stepping right in the middle of the board when doing the stepping and it registered better.

Yes it's to difficult for the Wii computer to find out with foot you use if you step right in the middle of the board. So he evaluated as as failed.

I have that problem too, and my board is new, so I don't think that's the problem. It seems to be very sensitive to where you step--I have the same problem with Rhythm boxing and the shifting left and right. If you don't hold the remote & nunchuck just right it won't register--sensitive system ;)
