purple castle in opening scene

In island cycle during the opening scene before the game starts the Mii chacater rides past a purple castle on a beach. I have been all over the island and I can't find this location. Does anyone know if it exists and if so how do you get to it?

take the path behind the waterfall that leads up inside the mountain. You'll find the castle on the other side of the lake.

Being a newbie I tried the expert cycle run. Needless to say I failed miserably during my first go at it. These tips are great. Thanks so much for the help. Got to go Wii. Wish me luck. I'll be back. :roll:
