Let me introduce you to a revolution in fitness gaming, the Wü Fit (yes, you read that right)...
Looks familiar, doesn't it?
This appears to be the same firm that makes Wü Remotes and other such low quality clones. If reviews I've read of their other peripherals are anything to go by, the build quality is pretty bad and rather unreliable.
Curiously, the review shows screen-shots from the real Wii Fit, but I can't believe they could be so blatant as to pirate the actual software. So I assume this is just the board. Quite why you would buy this if you had a copy of Wii Fit escapes me, but you can't fault them for trying. At about half the price of the genuine balance board I can see many people being tempted by this cut-price knock-off, especially with the box styling, but without software to go with it, this will be a poor deal.
Of course with an increasing number of games supporting the Wii Fit balance board, a cheaper standalone board, without software, would be attractive to many who are not interested in fitness gaming.
Just be careful what you buy for Christmas, I doubt many will be happy to find a Wü Fit under the tree
