Where are the shallow blue ramps?
Keep in mind that the side walls on the ramp to the main temple are ramps, also. Pappy has ridden up the right side wall to the top temple level once. Perhaps a more experienced, more argyle rider can cynique right up there. Now if a super cyclist were to ride up the ramp, pop a wheelie, spin around, and ride down, this would be super cyniquey.

The shallow blue ramps are all over the beach, and there is one on the Upland Green. They look like the red ramps but are not quite as steep.
I've actually ridden up both side walls of the temple in the past. Aside from the question of directional control, they are actually slightly easier than the main slope because they aren't as steep.

Tried a run tonite but was out of whack from a extra long work week. Anyway, going down the beach, I had a duh experience and recognized the blue ramps with orange stripes, and a little symbol of some sort on the edges. We might ask ourself, "Self, why so many ramps in such strange random seeming places?"
Is the retaining wall around the tennis court climbable from the beach? Looks like a ramp, but so far it's beyond me. The metal railings might make it unapproachable. Getting up part way might result in diving into the tennis court, with no way out.
Update:4/06: tried to jump the retaining wall fence by speeding down the hill, jumping from the road to end up in the tennis court. Almost, not enough air. Probably a good thing...no way out.
When Pappy climbed the rock at the temple ruins, ended up on the rock wall outside the rope fence, he faded through the fence. So possibly the same thing would happen to a mii that ends up in the tennis court. But maybe that mii would be trapped..in the tennis zone.
Hello again... I have just completed the "touch all ramps" challenge, using a horrible route, and it took 9.6 km or so, say about 6 miles, in just over 20 minutes. I wasn't going flat ouit or anything, so there is room to improve the time, and the distance as well. My conclusion is that the place to start is the lighthouse, but I'll let you all work out the rest of it for yourselves...
Note: "all ramps" includes the steep red ones, the shallow double-sided blue ones, the fragmentary half-ramp that helps you cross from one of the rooves to another, and all seven launcher ramps.
Bah. The 9.6 km run was bogus because I missed a couple of red ramps. So in effect, there are two versions of this challenge.
First, we have the "ramp objects" version, which just crosses the red and blue double-sided ramps, the blue single-sided launcher ramps, and the half-ramp up among the rooves. This should be easy to do in under 8 km.
Second, we have the "all ramps" version which crosses all ramp objects plus scenery ramps: the four ramps that link the top of town to the bottom, the three ramps between the bottom of town and the docks, the steel ramp that leads up to the Upland Green, and the five rideable ramps in the ruins (approach path to temple green, down into the door pit, and three slopes that lead from the green up to the top of the temple (centre and two handrails)).
We can then argue about whether there is a third version, in which we add the steel ramp to the ramp-objects version.
I tried that once just to see if you get some kind of prize (like we got the new bike for covering the whole island). No prize, but of course, I'm not sure I got all the ramps.
No, there isn't a prize, because it's a challenge I invented myself to add variety to the game.
