Yes, the posts are crazy mixed up! We'll have to hunt all over for new posts. I guess we will just have to wait until someone shakes it all up and it settles right.

Sorry about that, there was a timezone difference between the old and new server which meant that about 12 hours worth of posts may have the wrong time.

I’m not sure if my new find is new to the rest of you, but I was excited! After hitting the balloon on the ‘s ledge’ (I’m not sure what it is called, the narrow grassy ledge with the balloon at the end?) Anyway, after popping the balloon, ride slowly, with the back brake on, down the ledge close to the cliff wall on your right. As your mii takes her feet off the pedals and puts them in the grass, turn to the left and ease off the cliff (you should have a view of the iron bridge at this point.) You will reappear down in front of the waterfall lake. (Also if you get excited and don’t watch where you are going, you will dive into the lake and reappear downstream by the ramp!)

Is this the ledge that is straight down from the dry lake bed tunnel?

Sorry to sound dumb, but if I veer right when coming out of tunnel I weill end up on rope bridges. Therefore I assume you want to jump off first by the fence to get to the ledge with balloon. Funny I have jumped off there many times trying to judge if it was faster than turning and never found this cheat? Must be another of kescah's punishment cheats for my Mii

Ok. I am thinking like jvv that it has to be after you jump down from the lake bed area onto an s-shaped ledge. You ride over to the balloon and then exit via the sheer drop down to the land below? That works if you have your brake on? Hope I'm understanding this correctly. I'm going to give some of these new plummets a try today, since I am so far back in the dust that there is no point trying to catch up anyway. OR maybe I will save the plummets for after the victory, using left over time.
jvv, I know that you drink mere bottled water, and come October you will slow down and lose your edge. While I am drinking from the Fountain of Youth, and will pass you up.

I tried the plummet from the cliff with brakes on and it is clear to me that I am not understanding something. Maybe where the plummet is to take place?
I also tried the drop at the right of the lower fence and succeeded on about the 10th try. But not the 11th or 12th. So, considering I am really aiming to the iron fence balloon at that point in my route, I probably won't use that drop. But it was fun succeeding once!
And good grief, I forgot to run over to the ruins (due to numerous bumblings and givings up) to try that drop. I must remember to do that on Sunday when I can get back on that board.

Sorry, it is on the level below the path to the rope bridge. Right after you hit the balloon, slowly go just off the edge, you will find that there is still a small slope of grass (very short, very steep) I am a few feet from the cliff side to my right. Just down to your right, the grassy slope meets another small grassy plane (also very short and very steep) turn your wheel to the left to ride onto this small plane - then you will plummet down to the lake below. This only works when my mii has her feet down on the grass and not on the pedals, I'm not sure how I manage that.

Wow, I'm not sure how you discovered that! Incredible. I suspect there are several million such secrets and nobody will ever learn most of them.
