I bettered my speed today; I'm at 17:55:08. Not a record on this forum at all, but good for me. And that was despite a serious braking failure after coming out of the dry lake bed and popping the hillside balloon.
Gratulation, now you have overturn cynique (if you set your actually time in the forum stats). 8-)
Some know fault will help to make it better by the next try. :D

Have I really! I will go to the stats and put my new time in.

I see I am in fifth place. Well, better than I expected!!!

Congrats kescah. Good to see someone is keeping it up. It's just too nice to be inside. 18 holes yesterday and off to Truro for a round today. Wish my scores on the course would improve like your cycling :-)

Hmmm. What's happening here. I went to the spreadsheet to record my fantastic new time of 17:38:91, and entered it. When I clicked away to another rectangle, the score changed to 17:39:31. I thought the indoor air must be making me hallucinate ;) , and I redid it. But it changed back again! Someone must be trying to keep me from taking the lead!

lol Don't know what is happening but it is funny!! :D
When I look at it though I wonder if the 91 is based on 60 being 1 and not 100 as expected. Thus 91 becomes 1:31 and it increased your time to the next whole minute

In that case, I feel within my rights to drop off some of those hundredths. RIGHT?

There. I have cleared it up in my favor. 17:38:59. It's not me that cheated. The spreadsheet was out to get me.

It's an usual typing fault by using the automatic function of a spreadsheet. :D
It is the second colon that makes the problem.
You need to type in the form – minutes:seconds.(decimal) fraction of a second and not as hour:minutes:seconds :o

I did a test correction on your entry on the spreadsheet, because I hope you will not to be niggled. ;)

Ok. I don't know how you did that, but then I never took Spreadsheet 101. I see you moved me above Cynique, too, somehow. Spreadsheet expert that you are. :D :D

Not really an expert, but I had to programming (but only Excel with VBA) some spreadsheets the last ten years.
OK, 25 years programming some databases would also helping a little to understand data-types. ;)

Ah, no wonder! A programmer. My daughter is a programmer and she brought home some of the most absurd math books I ever saw. Nobody should be expected to learn those kinds of things! :D Just kidding, of course, where would I be right now if nobody had programmed this forum or Wii Fit?

I have worked in medical and creative fields. Other than learning how to change a pill into the appropriate dose of liquid medicine, I've had no use for math. ;)
