Yes, you can play golf all you want. I'll be here screaming around the island and beware when you come back!

No, I don't worked as programmer because I simply don't want to sit always by a desk. I more prefer a mix of handwork, construction, building, destroying (material tests), some theoretical considerations and a only little bit programming.

Sound simple, but by this kind of math faults, like a decimal place fault, can be really fatal.

Hi Guys,

My best time is just over 18mins but I have done several routes under 25mins. I decided that under 15mins was probably possible but needed some additional info. I collected together all the refs to the "Shortcuts" from the Forum & put it all together. I was surprised at the results so I tidied it all up, modified a map of the Island & I've put it up on my Personal web Page http://www.a1a.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/

I can't seem to access the Time spreadsheet currently is there a problem?

With the current Shortcuts I believe under 15 mins is possible but very difficult. It would need a perfect run using some difficult 1st time jumps! I think there are some more shortcuts out there & I'll be spending some of my time looking!

If you have a look & have any more info I will update my page.

I haven't been cycling for quite awhile but will be back at this fall/winter. It's still fun to lurk in the background and wait for Kescah to catch up with us. Think she'll ever get there? :-)

While the competition is quiet for the summer I have taken on a new form of exercise. :D I watch a movie and step up and down on the balance board for an hour or two wearing ankle weights and pump some weight with my arms, too. :D :D :D I could name some great old movies.... But it has kept me from beating the pants off my absent competitors on the route. :D Or by now I would have.

I also could not access your page, Old_bil. Will watch for it again.

Sorry jvv/All

I just did a minor update & it got screwed up. It happens quite a lot apparently! I'm still not quite sure what I did to fix it but I think it's OK now!!

It might be interesting to have a few real time "virtual" competitors on the course but that's a whole new ball game!!! If kescah finds another shortcut you never know!!

Glad of your interest
:) :) :) :) :) :) :)

LOL Kescah! You will beat the pants off all of us in the Fall! The heat has chased me indoors today: 105 in the shade and HUMID! I have improved my time to 18:65, but have not been able to beat it for some time. I've changed where I work (same job, different location), so I'm trying to get back in the groove. I haven't been as motivated lately, but if I can get myself going on the Wii I'm always happier. Guess I'll have to drag out my ankle weights to keep up with you. LOL! Think how fast you will be when you take them off again!

Good for you Sparky! Better not overdo it in that heat. I'm keeping an eye on you all in the east on the weather reports. It must be miserable!

My legs are terribly sore today.... wonder why! Did you know there are many small muscles in the legs as well as the main bigger ones? :o They all like to be babied. I am learning these things as I grow older and wiser.
