Methusalem, you gave me an interesting thought. When you see kitties they are sometimes moving around, is it possable that when I ring my bell sometimes that the kittie is not looking at my area and therefore won't come or runs the wrong way. I never can see him on the roof but know he is there as it meows. That could explain the mystery of the disobedient kittie. :D

Yes, but I'm not very sure. The kitties have a good dose of mystery and doing some times strange things. :?

Well, I am learning from repeated trials that he has a hearing problem and you have to be really near the green/blue building on the right as you come down from the bridge to get his attention. Then, after ringing and hearing him meow, you can go left into the grass and get that balloon. He will join you just as you are about to pop it yourself.

After looking at a map, duh, I switched to going from the lighthouse through the windmills. Much much faster. On that run, despite missing the balloon below the resort (which the kitty and I both passed at about a foot away) (thanks, cat) I finally broke under 18 minutes! I got 17:55:71. So with that turn around adding probably 20 seconds  I thought I did pretty well. If I could handle that hill climb above the man made tunnel, I'd switch to leaving that balloon until after the ruins, but I don't do so well with that. I think I am going to come out of the dry lake bed area and drop off the cliff to that balloon and then turn back to get the one above the man made tunnel before going down to the bridge. That should go faster than getting it first and then turning to go up to that s-shaped ledge and trying to get between the fence and tree there. It's much easier in the opposite direction. And then straight downhill to the bridge. Ta. :)

I get the balloon above the manmade tunnel pretty good now. I spent an hour going back and forth into and out of the tunnel making that turn. I wish you could reset the balloon and get a pet each time in a practise mode but I guess that would defeat the esercise mode. I am consistantly getting around 16:20 but still think the 15s are possible if I could just get a perfect run. I think I found another couple of seconds at the end today. In the tunnel with the ramp, jump into the water as soon as possible, yu reincarnate at the bottom of the ramp, not much advantage but every little bit helps at this point :D

I simply can't find this drop off the cliff, i'm sure I've tried every possible place but I'm still having to go to the end of the fence, take a hard right and then cycle vitually on my side to navigate the s ledge. Where on earth is it?

1dayfit, go straight past the ramp and on the road you will see a Mii. Continue past her and you will see the end of the fencethere, it has 2 poles that turn a corner effect. Approach from left to right and jump off at a slight angle and you will reincarnate below on the ledge. It takes a bit of practise and if you don't get it just right you will reincarnate on the road heading for the swinging bridge. Sometimes I "bump" the fence just a bit and that works. You have to aim on an angle towards the beach for it to work. Hope that helps. See you at the bottom. :D

Yep, that did it. I find if I'm aiming for the big rock on the beach then it gives me the right place. Thanks very much :D

Seems to me the approach is from right to left, wheel facing slightly left? That is what works for me anyway.

I approach it from above and turn toward the beach very slightly. Used to try and ride beside the fence but that didn't work too well. :(

How are you all doing with that balloon below the resort? I am still taking it from the left and doing my best that way. Can't control my cat at that speed, so don't count on him there. I'm just trying to figure out now how far left I actually have to go to come at it easily and successfully every time.
