The new way to get the first balloon in town (tip o' hat to Porquai) and between the buildings to get the third one have helped a lot. (Have you tried those, jvv? Or how do you get the third one?)
I go past the bowling alley, turn right, jump curb and get balloon as I round building (often use the pet, just for fun and practise) Important not to lose him here as he gains quite a bit of time at the lighthouse and ledge before steel ramp tunnel. I haven't tried the new suggested route yet as i am still trying to perfect form and get back to my old status, made 16:30 today. I will explore it more later. I totally missed the first beach balloon and one on the ledge even with that time so I am getting there. I still think getting the balloon by the rock after the manmade tunnel is faster than after leaving the dry lakebed, but maybe that is just for me.
Well, you must be right since you are faster than I, but I can't do it. So I'll stay in the dust.

Kescah: That's the way I do it. You just have to give enough room for the pet or it runs into a wall and isn't there when you ring to pop the balloon.

Jvv: I finally made an almost perfect circuit using your variation and ended up at 15:30. I'm not convinced there is an advantage though it is a refreshing change from the "same-old, same-old".
I cycled directly to the beginning of the fence and jumped off the cliff to the S-ledge. I climbed straight up the hill after exiting the man-made tunnel with the dog. I don't think I could have made it any shorter than that.

Excellent Porquai, Poor Kescah is going t o choke on all the dust 15:26 is my best but this year I have still got a ways to go to get back there, but it is only November. I am sure there are still afew shortcuts to be found and under 15 minutes could be possible. Some shortcuts are questionable for advantage but as you say they do make for a change. Happy cycling. Is Porquai your name and if so what nationality? Never heard it before but very close to french word for why? I think.

"Why" was my thought too, from Spanish "porque". Cough cough choke.

"Why?" is usually what I ask myself after a bad run. Then I put on my pants which are beginning to fit like clown pants and the question is answered. There are no bad runs in cycling. You are a winner every time.
I guess eating dust is better than getting a dose of that NW mud.

How is right. How in the world do you guys do this two minutes faster than I can when I am cycling my legs off screaming around the island?! I have improved in several areas in the last weeks but do not see how it can be done faster. I suppose if I keep going, more things will improve.
I used to stop and turn after the balloon on the S-ledge, but now I just turn and go. That helps. I used to assume I'd go off the cliff if I didn't stop. Where else am I thinking wrong?
Como? Donde?
