I'm not sure if anyone else has come across this yet but yesterday I got a message in free cycling which said "Well done, you've uncovered the entire map" or something to that effect - I'd been over all of the map and made all of the squares light up.

When I played today it had given me a new shinier bike to celebrate my hard work - it has white wheels and the spokes match your favourite colour! Sadly none of the doors opened.

Has anyone else found this or any other little easter eggs like it?

I took in a couple of foster kids before Christmas and haven't had time to cycle in weeks but since I had already managed to get all of the balloons in under 30 minutes, I also haven't been as motivated to try to squeeze in the time to cycle. This, however, makes me want to hop right back on that bike! Thanks for the inspiration.

Oh no, another goal! I wonder if it includes all of your cycling time or just on Free Ride?

Square lit up? What squares? I must need to go to where no man has gone before. Congrats on being the first!

Pray, what is this about squares? :geek:

Information for other lost souls like myself: I was riding all over the island trying to find places where I had not been, and it seemed there were none. When I went out on the beach, along the edges on the little round map there are dark squares. I've noticed them in the past, and that if you ride into them, they light up in patches, uncovering part of the map. Much of it, you have to go out in the water a bit. There are numerous squares of dark. The dark patches seem to be on the perimeter of the island. I rode part of it, lighting up patches. Then when my time ran out, hubby wanted a turn to uncover his island! So I am not finished yet, but it is my current goal.

My hubby is riding the perimeter and some of the dark patches are right on the edge of a cliff. You have to go dangerously close to the edge to get it lit up, but it works! You also have to go out on the pier to get a patch. This is crazy. It's almost my turn; I am willing to skip my homework and ride my bike all night! :o

OK. I started my run and thought I'd just check out on the beach for dark areas before I started a serious hunt around the island. I got a few, and lo and behold, I was done! I got the message and I stopped out at the end to restart. Sure enough, I had a gorgeous new bike with a great set of tires. I felt like it took me faster through the route, but I missed a few jumps, so didn't better my time. The brakes are better, too, which is really helpful for the rooftop! My hubby commandeered my bike and did some roof riding. Now he is determined to get his map uncovered and get his blue bike.

I'm hoping to see that this bike does some fancy things, but so far, I've seen only what I've mentioned above.

Oh, this was the reason for my new bike! :o I got it a couple of weeks ago, but never known exactly why.
I was long time ago an text adventure gamer, so I did nearly always look at all places and set up a map first.

I don't know. The most things not really spectacular: found Mii at strange places, jump on the town roofs, using some pet's, make a long wheelie with the bike. But at last it's mainly a physical fitness game, enriched with some nice gimmicks in most of the differed little games. My little grandson loves the grandfather falling down sequences best. :D

I am so excited. I got my new bike, and it's blue.... and its got white tires.... and its really shiney..... and I bet it will go really really fast too!!!! :D :D Thanks for the tip. I wonder though, on the top of the last island in the sand there are black boxes that I couldn'g reach, has anyone gotten up there, do you have to fly up as a chicken? There were other darkareas too far out in the water to reach also. Maybe we need snorkels..... What else is out there to discover????
