I know that I have not posted for quite a while, but I think I've discovered something pretty interesting. I got Wii Sports Resort a few days ago, and there is an event where you can ride a jet ski around the outside of the island. I was north of the beach in that little inlet...

...and I noticed a hole in the side of the cliff. I drove up to it, and the hole turned out to be a cave that went from the inlet to the other side of the island, under the part where the ruins are. I didn't think much of it at first, but on my second pass, I noticed a ramp on the wall. On the top of the ramp was a door in the wall, having the same texture as the door in the hole when your at the ruins. Since the doors are in the same place when looking from above, I think the two are connected by a tunnel, though I doubt you will be able to access it.

If anyone wants a video of the tunnel with me driving in it, I'll be glad to post one.

I had a look after reading this and flew through it myself - it was very interesting! I think the little door is where the ramp door leads to.

However - I then brought this back into Wii Fit on the flying game and lo and behold - the cave seemed to be blocked out! I'm convinced now that the doors won't open on Wii Fit - seriously disappointing!

Welcome back phunguy. I think you found the same cave I reported a couple of weeks ago. In Wii fit sports Island Flyaround I found a cave entrance that was called Serpents Mouth that goes to a tunnel called Sea Serpent Cavern and comes out at Needlepoint rock. You obviously can't see them when biking because they are at the waters edge below the ruins. I am sure that the landing (which you can't get off at) leats up to the mysterious doors at the ruins. I crashed into then and tried other methods to open without success.

At last I think Wuhu Island has more holes then a Swiss cheese.

Sorry I don't have that capability but if you have Wii Sports Resort you can't miss it. Just follow the cliff up from the beach going toward the ruins (right side of island) the exit is first below pinnacle rock and the opening to Serpents Mouth is right below the point at the end of the ruins. Only way to see it that I know of is in Sports Resort.

Hey Guys. I got Wii Sports Resort 2 days ago and started playing the "Island Flyover" game, I also found this cave, and the one under the "platform". I immediately went to "Fit" and tried on the chicken game, but with no luck . both tunnels are blocked off, just like everywhere else. I also tried to fly to the small island offshore but couldn't get there in 60 seconds. Apparently the Island is not ready to give up its secrets yet.
