Sorry my fault, you don't get stars for popping the balloons on the "Free Course". Stars you getting only if you go at least enough kilometres. (How many you would need I really don't know any more)
If you use "death plummet" tricks, the numbered balloons map didn't help. To many people found to many ways that can't go by others so please try your own way.
I tried the numbered balloons today, starting up at #1, and wasn't able to get through all of them before my time ran out. I don't know if I'm just too slow, or if there are tricks to getting from one place to another that I am not familiar with. I did manage to get all but two of the ballooons. I guess next time I will start with 20 and work my way backward, since that is nearly where I am now.

WOW! You bikers are a wonder! I've been at this about 2 months now and have broken the 24 minute barrier but believe that's about as fast as this 66 year old will get. I've been able to start at different points and still get all 20. Guess I'll have to try some "death Plummets" to shorten my time. Is there any word on an update to Fit ++ that might change everything? Like new doors and paths?

Boy. 66 year olds don't seem that old to me anymore. What's up with that?

We're all hanging on waiting for that. Surely the Nintendo team knows what we want. And they want our money. Not a bad trade off.

I gotta tell you Mr Green that there are many days that I don't feel 66 years old. Then WII Fit tells me my WII age and all of sudden, I'm 30 years younger. Don't ya just love it?

That I love! I was told once that I was a Wii 27! I would be more impressed by that if it were a bit consistent.

Thanks for the welcome, we LOVE the Island Cycling and miss it if we aren't on it for at least an hour each day. We got through the courses needed to get to the free-cycle, but will admit a cheat on the balloon find !!! Now I want a new bike....do you need to light up the required tiles in free-cycling after you have popped all of the balloons and within the 30 minute time limit?
I have been riding this course since January and found all the flags but not the balloons. I love the bike riding; I wish Wii would put out another game just for the bike riding its a lot of fun and I think it really works out the old glutes. I didn't know there is another bike you could get? I don't understand lighting up the tiles in the free cycling, could someone explain please.
In the bottom right corner when you are cycling there is a map of the island that changes size when you press the 1 button. It's marked off in tiles and in order to get a new bike you have to "lighten" all the tiles that you can reach. For me the dark ones were mostly along the edges of the beach and some I had to ride into the water a bit to get. Once you've gotten all the dark tiles lightened up you will be rewarded with a new bike the next time you play.

I don't know what it means "tiles". In expert course I press 1 and get the bigger map but I can't see anything that resembles a "tile". Do you have to meet some conditions before they appear? is there a picture somewhere of what it looks like? - tnks!
