Got this for my birthday a few days ago, and really like it so far. You can use it with the balance board which is why I wanted it, as, like others, I like the marble games on Wii Fit Plus.
You play as your chosen monkey inside a ball, and control the platform you roll on with the balance board or with the wiimote. There are ten "worlds" with ten different levels and difficulties, and there are other multi-player games if you want them.
At first I was worried, because it is designed to appeal to children, that I would "clock" it too fast. I need not have worried and am now stuck on level 3 of 10...I shudder to think what goes on on the other levels... but I really like the music and graphics and have even got hubby to have a go.
Anyone else tried this?

Yup, I'll try anything, even a rubbish yoga game...
This one is seriously fun. I bought it today, and I thought at first, "oh dear, have I bought a super-easy no-replay game ," but no, I scraped through the second world (undersea), with both me and my wife doing the gasp-hands-to-mouth thing whenever I fell off the edge of the world. (She wasn't playing, mind you...)
Maybe you have skills - I can't finish the undersea world yet. The one where each portal transfers you to another part of the field is very confusing for me. But I did have a sneak preview of the Far East" world - it really gave me vertigo!
Another thing I like about these games is that they are a lot more affordable than the xbox or pc games we used to buy. Everything seemed to be about $100 NZ dollars a few years ago, and this was about $40 NZ. Less of a risk if you aren't sure you will like it.
Anyway, I have been doing easily over half an hour on Monkeyball and feel like I have had more of a workout at the end of it. If you use the balance board, it's genuinely tiring. I still love Fitness Plus, but this is a welcome diversion.

I bought this yesterday and played it for hours last night. Not much workout but definitely skill testing and fun. I still can't seem to steer my monkey properly but I cleared the Undersea World and finished the first half marathon. I'll have to get my granddaughter to try it on the wknd and see how she makes out. She's 6 and loves playing the Wii games. I only tried a few of the mini games but it looks like there's endless hours to play.
