If you have not heard of it, Child's Play is a charity created by the guys at the gaming website Penny Arcade that sends huge numbers of toys and games to children's hospitals around the world. While they accept donations all year round, during November and December each hospital in the scheme has an Amazon Wishlist full of video games, books, DVDs and toys that you can buy and send direct to them.

Child's Play is a fantastic way to make life a little more bearable for sick children, stuck in hospital over Christmas. The gift lists have everything from cheap games, books and DVDs, all the way up to Wiis, DSs and other consoles. And if you don't fancy giving something from the list, you can always donate something direct to Child's Play through PayPal.
