Rhythm Parade is one of my favorite activities in WFP, and I have achieved perfect marches on Beginner. But the advanced level has been nearly impossible for me... until today.

It's always been the music in the advanced level that throws me off, because the rhythm of the music is completely out of sync with what your arms and feet are doing. In fact the music becomes somewhat chaotic in the middle of the march.

Today I decided to attempt the advanced level with my TV muted. I still had the wii-mote feedback, but I was able to focus completely on the screen and the rhythm of my hands, feet, and target sounds. My score sky-rocketed from 857 (with sound) to 1230 (muted) after just a few tries!

I am not sure if this is a "cheat" or not, but I really enjoyed this game so much more when I could identify a rhythm and sync with it.

Hope this helps others...

And today I achieved a perfect score in Advanced... with the TV Muted, of course :)

Congratulations! :D Now it's time to turn the sound up again and get perfect...

Actually, I found that my score went completely to (bad word) when I turned the sound off, whereas for you it was the opposite. Go figure.

Ok, I felt guilty... so I turned up the sound and got 1315! Wow! I was so surprised how well I did. I think that practicing with the sound off gave me a chance to learn the rhythm and strategize my coordination of hands and feet - now I am going for that perfect score with the sound ON!
