Looks like Ubisoft, probably one of the best games developers on the Wii at the moment, have been working on a new fitness game in collaboration with Gold's Gym (where Arnold Schwarzenegger trained).

The game Gold's Gym: Cardio Workout, will concentrate on getting your heart-rate up, and will be able to track the number of calories burnt and your progress.

I'm glad to see more companies entering the "Exergaming" market, and especially happy to see Ubisoft at it. Ubisoft have been one of the best developers for making optimum use of the Wii's control systems, with Raving Rabbids TV Party being a great example of how to make use of the balance board in new and interesting ways.

Hopefully all this competition will help raise the bar, and spur Nintendo on to release a Wii Fit 2. It should also put an end to the likes of the terrible Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum which has just two stars on Amazon.
