I like to work out with the woman, whom I have named Emily Elizabeth after the little girl in the Clifford The Big Red Dog books. She looks like that little girl all grown up. Sometimes Emily has to be gone and then I work out with the man, whom I have named Mark, no reason, it just seemed to fit. I have named my boxer Joe the Boxer, which I suspect was my subconscious' doing, because of the Joe Boxer brand at KMart, not sure, but I can't call him anything else. I have become fond of all the characters, kind of scary....

I really hate having the female trainer. Indeed, I hated it so much when she appeared in place of the male trainer that I figured out a way to get round it. At the beginning of the session, I go to 'My WiiFit' and to the section where one selects trainers and I select the man. This seems to reset something in the system because, since I discovered this, the female trainer has never appeared again.

I use the male trainer, and I named him Duncan. (I name everything, my car, my iPod, my computer...). The female trainer has shown up as a sub once, but since I don't routinely use her, I haven't given her a name--I'll let my husband (who does use her regularly) do that. A semi-useful guidebook that I bought when I started using WiiFitPlus said not to be surprised if the male trainer shows up one day with a ponytail, but that hasn't happened so far...
