wii fit board keeps telling me to step off

Hey Guys

I've got this problem with my wii fit, my wii fit board keeps telling me to ''step off the balance board and press A''
I am not standing on it when i get this message. I've checked the batteries, re synched the board to my wii, taken out the disk and re inserted, and run the check to make sure the ''wii balance board is functioning correctly'' and it is... but still can't use it.

Any Idea?

What happens if you press A?

sorry was away for some time, if I press the A nothing happens, I guess it's just wants to reconnect or something like that. Just went back to that link on Fixya.com I've posted earlier and found out I got an answer

what kind of surface are you setting the board on? we have ours on carpet & are using the special extension feet that came with it. maybe that's your problem?

Mine started doing that after about a fortnight - I took it back to the shop - who replaced it.
