I would love to find a map of the island. I have been racking my brains trying to get all of the flags in the expert level. If any one figgurs out how to get that flag that looks like it is in the water, please let me know. The ramps over the lake are cool. I go up into the grass and get a running start to jump them. I have noticed baracades in expert level I'm guessing there are more levels? It is a great game. It would be nice if the stationary bikes at the gym had this type of technology.

I'm trying to think which flag you mean. Can you give me a bit more detail on it? I pretty much have all the courses memorized. There is one flag that ppl have trouble finding that you have to go up behind the castle to get. Turn left up the ramp behind the castle and keep going and going. Or there is one inside a sandpit that you have to go through a tunnel to get. That tunnel is at the top of the hill on the left after you cross the big bridge out of town.

Hi. I've just joined.
Expert cycling is driving me mad. I reckon I can get 19 flags and the missing one is probably that referred in November by tristis. Mine is in an area of white (sand?) which might be the dry lake that tristis refers to. Can someone tell me how to get to the cave which seemingly leads to the flag.Thanks.

You may need to have a run just to find this flag then work it into your route. If you start on the side of the large bridge away from town and head up the "paved" road you'll go past a bit of a ledge on the left. Just past it head up the hill to the left and you should see a cave in the wall. Go in there and it will take you through the volcano to that sand pit. If you go through the man made tunnel on the road you've gone too far. Hoping this is right because I'm doing this from memory while at work!

The way I would describe that, using my route, is to come up from the resort, up the hill alongside the mountain, cross the road and go up the hill some more staying close to the mountain until you reach the tunnel (not a man made type but the next one, which is like a cave).

I'm sure Mokey's directions are fine; mine are from a different starting direction.

I found them and I have been doing the free ride. I posted a short cut in the easter egg section.

WII resort uses the same island. If you explore you see a bowling ally which is the one in WII resort. I also saw a tenis court. I golfed a little bit too and I think the island is the golf course as well. It looks fun and it is on my wish list.

I have all the flags but the one that's near the volcano and surrounded by looks like a circle of cement. The one by the hotel that looks like it's in the water is beyond the rock tunnel way out on the beach.

Does anyone know if you use the red ramps, is the time you are airborn logged as distance or will this shorten your mileage. It seem going uphill using ramps gives cyclist extra strength. Finding correct sequence for hitting flags is addictive but it is hard to tell if you are going in the right direction or not and redoing the route again doesn't show you the fine advances you may have made?

I tried hitting a lot of ramps on my last Free Ride journey, and I agree that they speed you up, or you could say give you strength. I think that helped me to get the time down as low as I did, which was 16.5 minutes on my first try at this route. My previous best was 19.13:43. But that was a slower route; more uphill.

I cycled the Free Ride Course tonight and the mileage meter stays up while you ride. So I took some ramps and watched the meter, it still keeps going so they don't shorten the mileage only speed you up but they can help get you up the hills sometimes. Now to find the rest of thos balloons............ :-)
