Hello to all. After reading all of the great stuff you folks have posted, I'm hoping someone can tell me how to land on the ruins and stay there. (It would save several minutes in collecting the balloons.)

I cycle through the mountain to the dead-end spot, pick up my pet and then cycle up to the lone Mii. I turn around(facing the ruins)and line up my bike with the narrow little rock path. I start peddling(hard), halfway down the path I push A and my pet takes off and jumps over the road and I follow, pulling up on my handle bars and turning left as I jump.

After several tries, I was able to land on the bottom step of the ruins, then the next step up. Finally, I landed on the edge of the ruins and was so excited that I lost my balance and fell off. The second time I landed on the top edge, I fell off again.

(I have tried to jump without my pet and I usually splat on the road or drown.)
(When at the dead-end point facing the ruins, the steps I'm landing on are to the right on the cliff.)

Any ideas???

Thank you.

Well, that is interesting. I think you have gotten farther with that than anyone else here. I haven't read of anyone managing that! Great job! Do you keep your pet through all that?

There are probably many things we could do if we thought of them and patiently tried various ways.

Let us know how you do with this. I have hardly been on the board lately, I hate to say, but it is interesting and when my life allows I will try it too.

Are you saying that you can jump across the road into the upper ruins from the rightside tunnel? Some major time to be saved there if true and could be worked into a route. :!:

I spent a half hour at this today and couldn't seem to get it lined up properly. Some screen shots would come in really handy about now

I tried it today also and couldn't see where to make it work either. Would love some screen shots also or better instructions as to location of jump off point.

Hspider2z, I think a video would help us perform the trick correctly.
