This was bugging me aswell, I had two cats and i found that if i ran past the beige cat and followed the white cat when it appeared a different route would be used. I did this a couple of times and it unlocked another route, The grey cat would then appear right at the beginning so i sprinted past the normal cat and followed the grey cat instead which went another way. Thats how the routes work it seems. I only get short route as an option on the menu which is a bit annoying, I don't know how to get longer routes yet.
Has anyone been able to unlock more than 2 cats on the Island Lap? And if so, what do you need to do? I've jogged numerous times and have gotten really good scores but still can only choose between two cats to follow.

Hi everyone. I don't understand this! I don't have any cats, but there are some dogs. How do you 'capture' an animal? Do you try to outrun it? (I haven't been able to do this - the dog justs speeds up!). Also, I read in another forum about collecting things as you run around. I haven't seen this (must concentrate!) but if I do, how do I collect? Stop running and press the 'A' button? Thanks.

Are you selecting Basic Run from the Aerobics menu or from the Training Plus menu? I think you get dogs in the Aerobics version and cats in the Training Plus version.
I didn't realise there was a difference based on where you select the workout from. I've only had the dogs, but when I think of it I always navigate to the workout from Aerobics. I'll try it from Training Plus next time.

The Jogging Plus is great. It really makes me work on my observation skills, which is a help in my martial arts class. It's just too easy to 'zone out' doing regular jogging, although this can be useful if I just want to relax a bit. Still, it's great to work out the mind.
