I used to use Wii Fit but got frustrated with the amount of time it took to go through all the menu options and feedback so I stopped using it. - For a 30 min workout it would literally take me more then 50 min. A few months ago, I bought EA Sports Personal trainer which gives a much better continuous workout. It wasn't perfect either because it doesn't have a lot of the strength exercises that I liked so I decided to try Wii Fit plus based on the my routines addition.
I bought it yesterday specifically to be able to do a string of strength exercises in a row but to my dismay all of the strength exercises are based on the low rep count. I was doing all the exercises at the highest level before so to drop down to the lowest one is horrible. I see that you can add several in a row but there is a break in between each session so doing 6 pushups 3 times is not the same as doing 20 at once.
Please tell me there is someway to increase the # of reps. If not will this be added soon or is there some other way around this?
I don't use Fit or Fit Plus for the actual exercise portion but if you have EA Personal Trainer did you try making yourself some custom workouts that fit with your plan? The new EA More Workouts has pushups as part of the plan but 16 is the most it has asked me to do.

I actually called the Nintendo 1-800-255-3700 # to voice my opinion on this. A lady from their customer team called me back and is going to pass my feedback along. I'm impressed that someone called me back.
I'm hoping that if enough people do this, that they will change this in future releases. Here's hoping anyway.

Damn, I was hoping this wasn't true... Controlling the rep rate would add such depth to the custom workouts! Let alone adding the other activities to the mix. I'm relieved that others are distressed about this too, I was slapping my forehead.
Way to go calling Nintendo! I'll check that out. Wii Fit + was created to solve a bunch of gripes with the original. It took a year and a half but they did it. I'm sure we haven't seen the last Wii Fit title by far, but damn a free software update would be nice.
