I'm having trouble with two of the training activities in wii fit plus, one is the Rythym Parade, where you have to march in time, then using the remote and nunchuck you have to do what ?? there are two circles and nunchuck and remote images keep appearing on the screen but I don't know how to react to them !
Also the one with the numbers where you have to bump your hips off them, sorry I don't remember it's name, I don't get that at all. I realise you have to bump up some kind of total but how do you know what to do ? I don't know if I'm just a bit dim !
I am an absolute dolt with the rhythm parade, but the concept is this: While marching, you are supposed to wave the nun-chuck and remote over your head (more like out to the side and up) punching it at the moment the device icon slides into the circle. If you do it well, other miis will join your parade. If you don't do it well enough they will leave you alone marching around the square…a dolt, much like myself.
As for the numbers: The basic game (the one you start with) wants you to use your hips to add to 10. You bump to select and to deselect if you have bumped the wrong one. when you get the total, it starts again. You have to reach 10 twenty times to win. Then you get to add to 15.
I've found a decisive flick of the wrists/upper arms is all that's necessary to work the batons in the game - I find the hardest part of that game is to walk in time! When the symbol for the remote or nunchuck is in the circle, flick the appropriate item and your Mii does a trick. Took me a few goes to get the hang of it, and I'm still not as good as other members of my family - it's a little bit much like having to walk and chew bubblegum at the same time!
For the Perfect 10 addition game, it's helpful if you put your green weight blob right in the middle of the board to start with, so that the Wii registers when you shake your hips. (I'd also suggest playing a round of Super Hula Hoop before to warm up, but maybe that's just me.)
I too am having real problems getting the marching right in the Rhythm Parade...does it actually affect the score? I am ok with waving the remote and nunchuck in time but as soon as I start concentrating on the marching it all goes out the window! And I consider myself to be reasonably musical and have a reasonable sense of rhythm! Is it that I'm following the beat of the music rather than the whistle? I watched a video on the internet of someone doing the rhythm parade and he had no probs. I get the message all the time "you are not marching in time"...does it matter where you place your feet on the wii fit balance board? Any ideas anyone? Help! x

Thank you all for the help !
Now I think I will enjoy the perfect 10 game ! I should have worked it out. I was standing there waiting to be given a total . Maths isn't my strong point but I think I can make it to ten.
I can't seem to keep in time to the rythym at all, yet on the steps workouts I can keep in time pretty well. Maybe I'm listening to the wrong beat ? I'm glad it's not just me anyway.
I logged a minor milestone of my own this morning with Perfect 10 - I solved all 20 puzzles in time! Now all I need to do is learn how to add to fifteen...

Well done qwertygirl, I'm still only getting 10 -15 right ! but at least I know what I'm doing now !
I actually did much much better on the Rythym Parade, the trick is to really flick the nunchuck or wii-more almost like a whiplash, I had some other Mii's join me ! I'm still not marching in time, it's like patting your head and rubbing your tummy at the same time ! better though.
It took me a couple of weeks to do, trying daily... and no sooner had I crowed about it on here than I slipped backwards... 16... Must have been a real fluke, perhaps? When you have the other miis join you, do you find it's good to walk to the beat of the tuba? I find I naturally fall into step with the tuba, and it *seems* to work... until the big finale when I can lose all of my followers at once.
