GameFocus have a report that Nintendo are to release a version of Tetris for the Wii which will use the balance board.

The game will be available as a WiiWare download, although no release data has been announced.

As a kid I was glued to Tetris on my first generation GameBoy so I'm very excited about this. It's to be called Wii Tetris Party, wich implies it will be multiplayer which was one of the best aspects of the original Tetris, I have many happy memories of trying to beat my brother over the old link cable.

At least this will be better for me than all those hours barely moving while peering at an old black and white screen
