The Telegraph have a short article about a poll of customer to "The Gadget Helpline", a kind of universal tech support line for gadgets.

Those polled put the Wii at the top of the list of gadgets that make them happy, a result that will come as little surprise to those of use that own one.

Of course, like most surveys like this, it's highly unreliable and self selecting, but an interesting result. What I found most surprising was the total absence of the PS3 from the list, while the XBox came a respectable fourth. Even the Sony eBook Reader gets on the list, but the PS3 is nowhere to be seen.

This result does hit home at one of the reasons why the Wii has been successful, it's just so much damn fun, it's a great console with some great games to play with friends and strangers, and it never fails to put a smile on people's faces (especially if you've been playing Raving Rabbids TV Party )
