Here is another story about Wii and Wii Fit use in hospitals. It's a heart-warming tale of a guy getting his golf swing back (and learning to walk) after losing a leg and several toes and being in a coma for months.
It is also the first time I have come across the term "WiiHab" for Wii based rehabilitation.
I think it says something about a product when people start creating new words around it, I think the Wii is rapidly joining the iPod and Hoover in that category.
It's also great to see technology that the rest of use take for granted as a toy, or a recreation or fitness device, helping to make a real difference to people's lives.

Awwwwwwwww that's awesome! I love stories like those. Here's an article on how to use Wii Fit as a home gym. It's pretty basic but good for total Fit newbs. It also has a link to a story about schools that are testing the Fit out in PE class...sweet. No more tubby kids. I wonder if Nintendo will give them discounts? I hope so.
